Job Description:

  • In living out our mission, GAC faculty and staff are expected to actively demonstrate their desire for Christ-like relationships by engaging in full campus life and ministry with their colleagues, parents and students.

  •  Assist in the direction supervision and organization of counselors and campers within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for counselors and campers within the mission.

  • Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior.

  • Exceptional service: History of professional excellence through diligence, organization, and communication skills;


Role Specific Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will possess relevant experience; experience in a Before/After School program and/or Summer Camp Program for grades K-3 and higher is preferred; 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;

  • Ability to convey a dynamic, energetic, patient, and nurturing spirit with passion and skill to actively and positively engage students;

  • Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment;

  • Ability to lift children (up to 50 lbs.), including kneeling, bending, stooping, stretching, or squatting to interact with children;

  • Successful completion of background screening and reference checking;

  • Ability to actively demonstrate the desire for Christ-like relationships by engaging in full campus life and ministry with colleagues, parents and students.
